Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Floral Clerk to support the Floral department, greet customers, take orders, and assemble floral items. You will help keep displays fresh and appealing, assist customers in selecting a perfect arrangement, and ensure accurate order processing both in-store and over the phone.

The role emphasizes friendly, attentive service and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including night and weekend shifts. Prior experience is not required as training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with floral orders in person or by phone
• Prepare and replenish floral products including arrangements, corsages, bouquets, and greenery
• Handle orders electronically, maintain confidentiality of order details
• Check freshness and manage daily product needs for the department
• Maintain department appearance, cleanliness, and stock levels
• Deliver orders as needed and assist with daily delivery lists
• Operate the department POS, handle payments, and provide friendly service
• Follow dress code and Hy-Vee guidelines
• Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed
