Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Floral Clerk to assist customers in ordering floral arrangements and to create beginner-level designs. You'll keep the department stocked, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and provide warm, attentive service that encourages customers to return.

In this role, you’ll handle in-person and phone orders, manage product freshness, and support daily department operations with a smile and strong teamwork. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with floral orders in person or by phone.
• Prepare and replenish floral products including arrangements, corsages, and bouquets.
• Process orders with confidentiality on sender, recipient, details and cost.
• Review product freshness and anticipate daily department needs.
• Water plants and maintain department cleanliness.
• Deliver orders and manage daily delivery list.
• Run the department register and handle payments.
• Assist with general department upkeep and phone inquiries.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and company guidelines.
