Job summary

Hy-Vee in Cedar Rapids is seeking a part-time Floral Clerk to assist customers with placing orders, build basic arrangements, stock the department, and deliver friendly, attentive service. You’ll handle both in-store and phone orders, maintain fresh product, and ensure the department looks welcoming and professional.

You will assist with preparing bouquets, corsages, ribbons, and balloons while following safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma or equivalent experience accepted.
• Six months of similar or related work experience preferred; training provided.
• Ability to deliver friendly, helpful service and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with floral orders in person or by phone.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish flowers including arrangements, corsages and bouquets.
• Process orders and handle payment at the department register.
• Maintain department cleanliness and product freshness throughout the shift.
• Unload deliveries and stock product in proper storage areas.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and department guidelines.
