FLORAL/CLERK (Finance)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read shelf tags, signs, labels, and training materials.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and present professionally.
  • Personal initiative and follow-through.
  • Teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills in product merchandising and customer service related to sales.
  • Ability to safely handle cleaning solutions, sharp tools, and operate equipment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Dependability and integrity demonstrated in past work.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and safety regulations.
  • Experience in grocery retail and customer service.
  • Experience operating a cash register and making change.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promptly assist and greet customers with excellent service.
  • Maintain professionalism, tact, and courtesy in all interactions.
  • Design and create floral arrangements and other items for customer orders.
  • Package orders safely and efficiently.
  • Organize merchandise and supplies appropriately.
  • Maintain customer records and assist with locating items.
  • Handle calls and orders courteously.
  • Decorate and merchandise the department.
  • Keep carts, tools, and supplies organized.
  • Ensure floors are clean and safe.
  • Maintain plants, prepare flower arrangements, and fill balloons.
  • Manage signage, product rotation, freshness, and space allocation.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Operate cash register per procedures.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Salary Range: $17.50 - $22.61 per hour.
