Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a related field is required; MBA/MS is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years in Category Management or procurement roles with perishables.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact to store ops, vendors, growers, and category teams for growth and execution.
• Support leadership with category performance analysis and strategic decisions.
• Execute floral category strategies focusing on sales, margin, shrink, and assortment.
• Manage vendor and item setup, maintenance, and timely data integrity.
• Coordinate floral procurement, timing, substitutions, and seasonality needs.
• Lead negotiations for cost, promotions, and product quality.
• Plan and execute daily, seasonal, and key selling periods with Just-in-Time supply.
• Monitor quality, freshness, shrink, and sell-through to improve performance.
• Provide guidance on merchandising standards and store-level execution.
• Collaborate on promotions with cross-functional teams and ensure pricing accuracy.
