Felikian's Carpet One Floor & Home in Pasadena, CA is hiring an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team. If you have proven sales experience, strong client relationships, and a track record of closing sales, this is your opportunity.

We offer $20/hour plus commission with earning potential of $55K–$90K, a 40-hour work week (Mon–Sat) with three Saturdays per month, paid training, and benefits including medical, dental, life, retirement, and vacation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' proven work experience in Retail Sales, Interior Design, Furniture Sales, Property Sales, or similar role.
• Ability to pass a background check & drug test (REQUIRED).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Gmail & Google Workspace.
• Fundamental tech, social media & math skills.
• Personal & professional judgment.
• Positive, communicative & motivated to help grow the business.
• Critical thinking & problem-solving abilities.
• Quick to help customers get what they need.
• Organizational skills & the flexibility to pivot from priority to priority.
• Time management skills & detailed oriented.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
• Knowledge of RFMS a plus, but not required - willing to train.
• Flooring or design experience is a plus, but not required — we're happy to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Determine overall flooring & design needs while offering great customer experiences.
• Build genuine relationships with new & existing customers.
• Schedule appointments for client design consultations.
• Keep up to date on the selection of products & services provided.
• Review measurements, estimate materials, present proposals, product suggestions, manage payments & oversee project quality.
• Keep installations on track by coordinating schedules, sharing notes + photos & reviewing checklists.
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications & availability.
• Build social networks & help generate new leads.
• Keep the showroom clean, organized & on trend.
