Job summary

Floor Coverings International – Greater North Denver is seeking an in-home Flooring Sales Consultant to design and sell floor coverings directly with clients in their homes. You will measure spaces, quote accurately, and guide choices to fit budgets and style.

Ideal candidates have in-home/outside sales experience, strong communication, and a results-driven mindset. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Denver area are essential.

• In-home or outside sales experience is required.
• Comfortable with basic math and measuring (sq ft, quantities, pricing).
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust quickly.
• Self-motivated, organized and tech-savvy.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

What You'll Do

• Conduct in-home design and sales consultations
• Measure rooms and job sites to provide accurate quotes
• Guide customers through flooring selections that fit their style and budget
• Close sales by clearly presenting value and options
• Manage proposals, follow-ups, and project details
• Build referral relationships with local builders, realtors, and designers
• Partner with the Production Manager for a seamless customer experience

What Success Looks Like

• 50%+ close rate on appointments
• Consistent 5-star customer reviews
• Strong referral and repeat business pipeline

What We're Looking For

• In-home or outside sales experience
• Comfortable with basic math and measuring (square footage, quantities, pricing)
• Strong communicator who builds trust quickly
• Self-motivated, organized, and tech-comfortable
• Valid driver's license
