West Shore Home is seeking a Flooring Installer in Ocala, FL, with a 6:30 AM start and a Monday–Friday schedule. The role involves loading materials, driving to customers, removing existing flooring, installing new floors, finishing trim, and leaving the home clean and respected.

The position emphasizes a 5-star customer experience and adherence to SOPs and PPE.

Qualifications

• Experience in flooring installation or related remodeling fields.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Smartphone or smart device required to log into company systems with two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Demo and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.

Position: Flooring Installer

Purpose Of Position

The Flooring Installer will assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol while providing customers with a 5-star experience.

Key Role Accountabilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse

Compensation

• The approximate hourly for this position is $17-$20 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience installing window/doors, carpentry, remodeling, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication
