Role Description

The Flooring Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Haddonfield, NJ. This role involves installing hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, carpet, (Hiring tile flooring installers separately) in residential and commercial properties, following project plans, manufacturer specifications, and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include site preparation, accurate measurement, material handling, subfloor inspection and repair, and precise cutting, fitting, and finishing of flooring and trim. The Flooring Installer will interact with clients and team members on job sites, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and support quality control from initial setup through final walkthrough. This role also includes documenting work performed, following schedules and workflows, and collaborating with project managers to ensure timely, high-quality completion of each project.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Hardwood Flooring installation, including solid and engineered hardwood.
• Proficiency working with Carpet installation and finishing techniques.
• Experience across general Flooring installation, including luxury vinyl plank and tile.
• Ability to work with Hardwood materials, including cutting, layout, and detailed finishing.
• Knowledge of subfloor preparation, moisture control, and basic construction practices.
• Ability to read and follow measurements, work orders, and installation guidelines with attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized job site.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Camden, Gloucester, and Burlington Counties.
• Prior experience as a flooring installer or in a related trade; apprenticeship or vocational training is a plus.
• Capacity to lift and move flooring materials and equipment and perform physical work throughout the day.
