Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is hiring Designers to provide end-to-end design services for customers in our Atlanta-area stores. You will meet with clients, assess project needs, and develop creative concepts that reflect personal style and budget.

This role emphasizes sales, design expertise, and strong communication with homeowners, designers, and builders. Prior design or retail experience is valued, with opportunities for growth and advancement within Floor & Decor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience
• Degree in Design is a plus
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, designers and builders
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions
• Manage multiple customer projects with timely communication and follow-up
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation
• Support company initiatives and stay updated on design trends
• Utilize design applications such as Salesforce and the Online Design Scheduler
