Job summary

Floor & Decor in Littleton, CO is seeking an in-store Designer to greet customers, listen to project needs, educate on requirements, and craft design concepts reflecting clients' style, lifestyle, and budget.

You will manage multiple projects, schedule appointments, and advise on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects, matching client goals with beautiful, achievable results.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Design degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.
• Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant position.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Advise homeowners, designers, and builders on tile, wood, stone and accessories.
• Design and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
• Support company initiatives by modeling best practices with staff.
• Stay current with design trends relevant to the market.
• Utilize design applications like Salesforce, Online Design Scheduler, and MyProject.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
