Calista Corporation seeks a skilled rig hand to support diesel electric rotary drilling operations in Alaska. This position exposes you to extreme environmental conditions and requires precise work and strong safety discipline.
You will perform general upkeep of drilling rig equipment, handle pipe on the rig floor, assist in rig relocations, and work at heights. Compliance with HSE policies and teamwork are essential. NSTC eligibility may be required.
This is a skill level position in the petroleum industry. Exposure to extreme environmental conditions can be expected. Requires good precision of the body. Must be able to respond quickly to directions. Good knowledge of drilling rig, tools and equipment is essential. Employees are expected to follow company rules established for employee safety and welfare.
Inside enclosed oil rig and outside in elements. Hazardous conditions may include a wet, oily, icy steel floor, noise, steam.
