Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Floorcovering - Operations Manager Trainee Program is an accelerated, entry-level position designed to prepare current or prospective employees for a Floorcovering Branch Management role in 18-24 months.

With Sherwin-Williams' promotion-from-within philosophy, you will have the opportunity to progress into an Operations Manager position upon successful completion of the initial 8-week training course.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a million-dollar store business and contribute to strategy.
• Build relationships with wholesale customers.
• Complete store administration and communicate with staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security.
• Support employee training and performance management.
• Partner with Branch Manager for outside sales calls to increase market share.
