Job summary

Structis is seeking Commercial Construction Floor Underlayment Installers to join our field team in the Bridgeport area. You will work on gypsum and concrete-based products, with hours that pay $18.00 to $26.00 per hour and steady, year‑round work.

Qualifications

• Must know basic hand tools.
• Basic knowledge reading a tape measure.
• Hard-working and goal-oriented.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to drive to project sites.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Comfortable in multi-temperature environments.
• Lift/carry/push/pull up to 80 lbs repeatedly.
• Previous construction experience is a plus.
• Previous experience on a concrete crew is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, tapping and laying acoustical floor mat.
• Breaking open bags of gypcrete and pouring into a mixer.
• Setting up the hose for pouring and connecting to the mixer.
• Operating a Bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
• Finish the poured Gypcrete floor.
• Carrying supplies onto a job site.
• Pickup or deliver supplies as needed.
• Assist other crew members as necessary.
• Use small tools and perform basic equipment repair.
