Job summary

Structis is hiring Commercial Construction Floor Underlayment Installers to support gypsum and concrete products. Year-round work with a team-driven atmosphere and comprehensive benefits. You will cut, tap and lay acoustical floor mat, mix gypcrete, set up hoses, operate a bobcat to move sand, and finish the poured floor.

You’ll carry supplies and assist crew members as needed. Must know basic hand tools, be reliable and punctual. Driving to sites required.

Qualifications

• Must have basic hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of reading a tape measure.
• Hard-working, goal-oriented, reliable and punctual.
• Able to drive to multiple project sites.
• Able to multi-task in a multi-temperature environment.
• Able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 80 lbs repeatedly.
• Previous construction experience a plus.
• Experience with concrete crew a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support gypsum and concrete based products on projects.
• Cut, tap and lay acoustical floor mat.
• Break bags of gypcrete and pour into mixer.
• Set up hose for pouring and connect to mixer.
• Operate a bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
• Finish the poured Gypcrete floor.
• Carry supplies onto job sites and assist crew as needed.
• Use small tools and perform basic equipment repair.

Primary Objective:

Our construction laborers support the install of gypsum and concrete based products.

• Cutting, tapping and laying of acoustical floor mat.
• Breaking open bags of gypcrete and pouring them into a mixer.
• Setting up the hose for pouring and connecting to the mixer.
• Operating a bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
• Finish the poured Gypcrete floor.
• Carrying supplies onto a job site.
• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.Assist other crew members as necessary.
• Use small tools and perform basic equipment repair.
