Job description

We are looking to add a floor tech for our growing healthcare facility in Tyler, TX!

Pay Rate - $15/hr with weekly pay
Shift - Monday - Friday 5pm - 1:30am / no weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, buff, strip, and wax floors in patient rooms, hallways, common areas, and other facility spaces.
• Perform routine floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Operate floor machines such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums according to manufacturer instructions.
• Apply floor finishes and sealants to ensure high-quality surface appearance and durability.
• Ensure that floors are cleaned according to infection control and safety guidelines, following all established protocols.
• Respond to emergency floor cleaning requests as necessary (e.g., spills, stains).
• Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility by performing additional cleaning duties when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste and maintaining tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in floor care, custodial services, or environmental services preferred.
• Knowledge of floor cleaning equipment, chemicals, and maintenance techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
