Job description

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment at Summit Cancer Care. Pays $16.00 to $16.50 per hour for part‑time work.

Location: Summit Cancer Care – 225 Candler Drive, Savannah, GA 31405. Online applications only. Schedule: Monday–Friday, hours may vary. Minimum 2 years of floor care experience required.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment and automated equipment for large‑area cleaning.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
