Compass Group USA's ESFM division is seeking a Floor Technician for a part-time shift at the Shell facility in Houston, TX. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, damp surfaces, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Execute maintenance and restoration for all floor surfaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing

• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface

• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager
