Compass Group USA's ESFM is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain and restore floors at 101 Vitamin Dr., Wilmington, NC. This full-time role includes on-the-job training and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Key tasks include floor upkeep, stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, carpet care, and safety compliance. The job requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of floor maintenance and uses proper hard floor care procedures.
• Operates industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing and extractions.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Requirement: Floor scrubbing equipment experience preferred, but not required. Will train!
• Fixed Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
