Job summary

ESFM USA is hiring a Part-time Floor Technician in Houston, TX. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment at the Shell location.

The ideal candidate has floor care experience and knowledge of equipment, with safety procedures to follow. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required; the schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 pm–12:00 am.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor care per procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing).
• Operate industrial floor care equipment.
• Clean large floor areas using automated equipment.
• Perform carpet/upholstery cleaning and spot treatment.
• Carry out maintenance/restorative work for floor surfaces.

We have an opening for a part time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.

Requirement: Floor tech experience preferred.

Fixed Pay Rate: $16.55 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
