Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for a full time Floor Technician at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Requires prior floor care experience, knowledge of floor care equipment and safety procedures, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive benefits include weekends and holidays off.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager
