Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Floor Technician at Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville, OH. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

The schedule is full-time, Tuesday–Saturday, 10:30 am–7:00 pm, with benefits and room for training. Qualified candidates should have prior floor care experience and knowledge of floor care equipment, along with the ability to follow safety procedures and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance knowledge; strip and refinish, burnish, spray clean/buff.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for large-area floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surfaces, extractions, spots, vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance/restorative processes for all floor types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
