Job summary

TouchPoint in Appleton, WI is hiring a full-time Floor Technician. Schedule 6:00 am–2:30 pm or 3:00 pm–11:30 pm; rotating weekends. Pay ranges $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Prior floor-care experience is required.

As part of Compass Group's TouchPoint, you will maintain hard-surface floors and operate industrial equipment. Benefits include weekend differential and additional pay for second shift; applications accepted online.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience required.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Know and apply hard-surface floor maintenance procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Perform carpet/upholstery cleaning (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Perform maintenance/restoration for all floor surfaces.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
