Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing)
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas
• Performs carpet and upholstery work (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming)
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Job description

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.


• Location: Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools - 150 Lucy Lane, Lewisville, NC 27023. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.


• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules; Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, or 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)


• Requirement: One to two years of Floor Tech experience is required.


• Pay Range: $16.50 per hour to $17.00 per hour

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions
