Job summary

SSC Services for Education is seeking a Floor Technician at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job description

• We are hiring immediately for a full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.
• Location: McDaniel College - 2 College Hill, Westminster, MD 21157. (Openings at other locations within school district available)Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, Tuesday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, and Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. More details upon interview.(Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: 2 years of floor care experience is required.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
