Qualifications

• Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 100 pounds with proper technique.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting.
• Clean carpets: vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, disinfecting.
• Buff floors using a floor machine and appropriate pad/finish.
• Refinish floors with stripping or scrubbing methods as needed.
• Pick up accumulated trash and place in designated areas for removal.
• Clean entry/exit areas; remove trash and cigarette butts; clean glass.
• Clean equipment daily; notify supervisor when repairs are needed.
• Scrub and clean shower rooms daily.
• Clean assigned areas; pull trash; sweep and spot mop floors.
• Remove biohazard containers and dispose properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned; comply with policies.

Essential Job Functions

• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, etc.
• Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Buff floors using floor machine and appropriate pad and finish as needed.
• Refinish floors using proper stripping or scrubbing method as needed or assigned.
• Pick up accumulated trash and place in designated areas for storage and/or removal.
• Clean exit/entrance door areas, to include removing trash and cigarette butts, cleaning glass with cleaner, sweeping mats, etc.
• Clean equipment daily.
• Notify supervisor when repairs to equipment are needed.
• Scrub and clean shower room daily.
• Clean assigned areas, pull trash, sweep, and spot mop floors.
• Remove biohazard containers and properly dispose of them daily.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Comply with policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. No experience required. On-the-job training provided.

• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry up to 50 pounds utilizing proper body mechanics and assistance.
