+ Location: AdventHealth Riverview - 9330 US Highway 301 South, Riverview, FL 33578. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time schedules. Days may vary, with shifts from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am or 4:00 am to 12:30 pm; more details provided upon interview.

+ Requirement: Two years of previous floor technician experience is preferred but not required.

+ Pay Range: $16.50 to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary:

The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and restoring floors, operating industrial floor care equipment, and ensuring cleanliness and safety.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for large-area floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Conduct maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role.
• Required: Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques; ability to follow safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
