Job summary

Coreworks is hiring a Floor Technician in Miami to perform floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. The role requires prior floor care experience, knowledge of floor care tools, and adherence to safety procedures.

The position offers a full-time schedule with a 3:00 pm–11:00 pm shift, rotating weekdays and weekends. The candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Coreworks is hiring immediately for a full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.

• Location: Miami Jewish Health - 5200 Northeast 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33137.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, rotating weekdays and weekends. Days may vary. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior floor care experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
