Job summary

Coreworks is hiring a Floor Technician to maintain and restore floors at Miami Jewish Health in Miami, FL. The role runs 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm on a full-time schedule with rotating weekdays and weekends; duties include operating floor care equipment and related tasks.

You'll join a supportive team in a healthcare setting, with a focus on safety and quality. Prior floor care experience is required, and the compensation is $17.00 per hour with benefits and a path for growth within Compass Group's

Qualifications

• Experience in floor care in a healthcare setting required.

• Prior floor care technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Cleans carpets and upholstery including shampooing and extraction.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Operates other duties as assigned by manager.

• Location: Miami Jewish Health - 5200 Northeast 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33137.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, rotating weekdays and weekends. Days may vary. Further details upon interview.

• Fixed Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
