Job summary

ESFM is seeking a Floor Technician for a full-time evening schedule at 1151 S. Graham Road, Greenwood, IN 46143. The role runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM, with online applications accepted only.

No experience required; on-the-job training provided. The technician will maintain hard-surface floors, operate industrial floor care equipment, and perform carpet/upholstery cleaning.

Qualifications

• No experience required. Willing to train.
• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and spray cleaning.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Cleans carpets and upholstery including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Fixed Pay Rate : $16.50 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
