ESFM is hiring a Floor Technician for a full-time role at 625 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA 17015. The position focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment with potential on-site responsibilities.

We seek individuals with prior floor care experience or a willingness to train, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and committed to safety procedures. Monday–Friday schedule; pay is $16.00 per hour with benefits typical of ESFM.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with floor care maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Willingness to train and follow safety procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently

Responsabilités

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing
• Operate industrial floor care equipment
• Use automated equipment for large area cleaning
• Clean carpets and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface and extraction

Job Summary

Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing

• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment

• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface

• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.

• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types

• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred

• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required

• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures

• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
