SSC Services for Education is hiring a Floor Technician for TAMU Dallas. This part-time role involves floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment in a school environment.

You will work Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package. Prior floor care experience and knowledge of equipment are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Floor Technician preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses procedures on stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Cleans carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• We are hiring immediately for a part time FLOOR TECHNICIAN (TAMU DALLAS) position.
• Location: TAMU HSC Dallas Jn - 3302 Gaston Avenue, Dallas, TX 75246. (Openings at other locations within school district available). Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: 1 year of experience as a Floor Technician and knowledge of floor care equipment is required.
• Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $18.50 per hour
