Compass Group USA's ESFM division is hiring a Floor Technician to perform floor maintenance, restoration, and operate industrial floor care equipment at our Concord, NC site. This full-time on-site role requires no prior experience, with on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automation for large area floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning and spot cleaning.
• Carry out maintenance/restorative processes for all floor surfaces.
• Support other duties as assigned by manager.

• Schedule: Full time schedule. Days andhours may vary. More details upon interview.

• Fixed Pay Rate:$15.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
