Job Opening: Floor Technician

We have an opening for a full-time Floor Technician position located at 975 Powder Plant Road, Bessemer, AL 35022. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule

• Full-time schedules available with day and night shift options:
  • Day Shift: Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday, 7:30am - 6:00pm
  • Night Shift: Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday, 7:30pm - 6:00am

Requirements

• At least one year of industrial floor care equipment operation experience.

Pay Range

$16.00 to $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred previous experience as a floor care technician or related role.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
