Job Description

The Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment at assigned locations. Responsibilities may vary based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude towards customers, clients, and co-workers.
2. Anticipate and respond to customer needs.
3. Perform proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing, following surface maintenance principles.
4. Handle carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
5. Operate industrial floor care equipment as scheduled for large areas.
6. Perform maintenance and restoration for all floor types.
7. Properly process all waste types, including municipal solid waste, infectious, and pharmaceutical waste, rendering infectious waste as MSW when applicable.
8. Remove trash, recyclables, soiled linen, and used supplies, disinfecting receptacles and carts as needed.
9. Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control standards as per local regulations.
10. Adhere to appearance standards, wearing the required uniform and PPE during work.

Qualifications
