Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina, a brand-new facility in Pinehurst, NC, is seeking a Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. This role focuses on keeping floors clean and safe while supporting housekeeping and laundry to maintain a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

The Floor Tech will perform sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing of floors, assist with room moves and discharge cleaning, and participate in cross-training.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Customer service oriented; able to communicate at all levels.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, flexible and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Taking out the trash.
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing various floor surfaces.
• Stripping and waxing qualifying floor surfaces.
• Cross training in Housekeeping and Laundry should the need to float arise.
• Assist with room moves of residents.
• Assist with discharge cleaning of residents’ rooms, which would include boxing of items and moving furniture.
• Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director
• Minimal maintenance responsibilities as needed.

The Floor Tech works with the housekeeping and laundry team to provide a clean environment for all customers residing in and visiting our facility.

Responsibilities include:
