Job summary

Arkansas Building Services is seeking a dependable Floor Care Technician to maintain floors at commercial facilities in the Russellville area. The role involves performing scheduled floor-care services safely and efficiently to meet company quality standards.

The position requires working evenings and overnight shifts with some weekend work. Experience is a plus but not required; you will operate floor-care equipment, handle cleaning chemicals, and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Floor-care or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with buffers, burnishers, extractors, and automatic scrubbers is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and follow written instructions.
• Dependable attendance and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work for extended periods.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and occasional weekends.
• Must pass applicable pre-employment screening including background review and drug screening required.
• Background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Strip and refinish vinyl and other resilient flooring
• Scrub, wax, buff, and burnish floors
• Clean carpets using extraction and low-moisture methods
• Clean tile, grout, and other hard-surface flooring
• Move and replace furniture as needed
• Operate and maintain floor-care equipment
• Mix and use cleaning chemicals according to instructions
• Inspect completed work and correct quality issues
• Keep equipment, vehicles, and work areas clean and organized
• Communicate job progress, supply needs, and site concerns to management
• Follow company safety procedures and customer-site requirements

Arkansas Building Services is hiring a dependable Floor Care Technician to maintain floors at commercial facilities for the Russellville area. This position is responsible for performing scheduled floor-care services safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.

POSITION, SCHEDULE, PAY, BENEFITS

• Position: Janitorial Cleaner, Russellville Area
• Shift & Schedule: Evenings & Overnight. Some weekend work required (~1x per month)
• Experience Required: Experienced a plus, but not required.
• Pay / Salary: Starting at $12.00 per hour - depending on experience
• Employment Type: Hourly, eligible for overtime
• Benefits Provided: Direct Deposit. Paid Holidays after 1 year of employment. Full-time positions receive PTO after 1 year of employment. We do not currently offer health insurance.
