Job summary

Sodexo at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno is seeking a Floor Technician to deliver high-quality floor care and cleaning services overnight. You will perform sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping and refinishing of hard surfaces, and you may extract carpets and clean furniture as part of routine hygiene tasks.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related floor care experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.
• Able to work overnight shifts and be punctual.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors with heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture, empty trash, linen and garbage containers.
• May assist in training other employees; attend shifts on time.
