Job summary

Sodexo at UTMB Health League City Campus Hospital is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe floors overnight. You will sweep, mop, buff, strip and refinish hard surfaces, vacuum carpeted areas, and assist with trash and linen handling to support a hygienic environment.

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May assist in training other employees.
