Job summary

Sodexo at CAPITAL HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER - HOPEWELL is seeking a Floor Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment through professional floor care. This part-time role requires physical work and strong attention to detail to support daily operations.

You’ll operate floor care machinery, perform routine cleaning tasks, and collaborate with team members to meet client standards. Flexible afternoon/evening shifts and rotating weekends are included; training is provided.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts : Afternoon/evenings - varying days, and rotating weekends. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour - $19.00 per hour
