Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, LLC invites applications from dedicated environmental services staff to maintain a clean, safe facility. The Floor Technician will perform daily floor care, carpet cleaning, and general housekeeping tasks in our New Albany, OH location.

The role emphasizes attention to safety and cleanliness, with responsibilities spanning floor upkeep, carpet care, wall/ceiling cleaning, and adherence to facility standards in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with floor care including sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting is preferred.
• Carpet cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to use cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day cleaning of floors including sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting.
• Set up safety signs before cleaning activities.
• Clean carpets by vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfecting.
• Clean walls and ceilings as part of routine maintenance.

Position Overview

The Floor Technician is primarily responsible to perform the day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors to include, sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
• Ensuring that proper safety signs are set up prior to performing floor cleaning activities
• Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
