Job summary

Marquette General Hospital is seeking a Floor Care Technician to join the housekeeping team. Provide a safe, clean hospital environment by performing floor care tasks including cleaning, buffing, bonneting, and floor stripping as assigned.

We offer flexible shifts (Day/Evening/Night), full-time and part-time positions, and competitive wages. Applicants must be 17+, speak English, be neat, and ready to work in a team; background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors.
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned.
• Follow cleaning procedures and best practices; provide friendly service to hospital staff and patients.
• Assist team members and management to help the department operate efficiently.
