Job summary

HHS Environmental Services, LLC (USA) is seeking a Floor Care Technician to join the housekeeping team at Bayhealth Hospital – Sussex. The role offers full-time schedules with 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shifts, and a wage of $18.40 per hour.

Responsibilities include floor care tasks to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment for patients and staff. Applicants must be at least 17 years old and able to communicate in English, work well in a team, and maintain professional

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 17 years old.
  • Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
  • Preferred: Housekeeping experience in healthcare or related environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors.
  • Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned.
  • Follow HHS cleaning procedures and best practices to ensure a safe hospital environment.
  • Provide friendly and kind service to patients, visitors and staff.
