The facility in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking a full-time floor technician to maintain carpeted and hard surface floors, operate approved cleaning procedures, and respond to staff needs.

Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour for trainees, with a pay range of $16.60–$26.57. Benefits begin Day One and include a 403-B plan and 4 weeks of paid parental leave, among others.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field [Required]
• Ability to maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition, with or without reasonable accommodation [Required]
• Ability to communicate in English, with or without reasonable accommodation [Required]
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use a mouse and keyboard or other appropriate input methods, with or without reasonable accommodation [Required]
• Ability to climb and work on a ladder, with or without reasonable accommodation [Required]
• Knowledge of floor care maintenance processes [Preferred]
• Ability to safely use equipment related to the care of floor surfaces, including but not limited to commercial rotary machines, auto scrubbers, vacuums, and floor burnishers, with or without reasonable accommodation [Preferred]
• Demonstrates knowledge of environmental services equipment and chemicals used in the department [Required]
• Ability to assess, correct, and maintain various floor surfaces, with or without reasonable accommodation [Preferred]

Responsabilités

Job Description

Shift: Full-Time Days; 40 hours a week Compensation is based on experience, with trainees who have no prior experience starting at $18.00 per hour.
