Southern HealthCare Management is hiring a Floor Technician to maintain and clean floors across our facilities in Florida. You will operate and care for floor equipment, follow safety protocols, and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities Of Floor Technician

This job requires the use of specialized power equipment.

• Performs preventative maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use.
• Secure the work area and posts proper safety notices for other users of the space prior to beginning work.
• Floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing and burnishing on hard surface floors and stairwells.
• Vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting, and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.
• Maintenance of floor care equipment.
• Wall cleaning.
• Dusting (high and low).
• Periodic cleaning of restrooms, offices, or classrooms (as assigned by supervisor).

Qualifications For Floor Technician

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• Prior floor tech experience in an institutional environment preferred.
