Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Indianapolis is seeking a Floor Technician to perform floor care tasks such as waxing, stripping, buffing, and related environmental services in accordance with safety standards. The role requires working with a team, following procedures, and maintaining a clean work area while using PPE.

Shift: Sun–Thu, 4:00pm–12:30am; compensation $18.30–$19.30/hour; SBM offers comprehensive benefits and is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Education: No formal education requirement; 6 months to 1 year experience preferred.
• May require a valid driver’s license and safety training certifications.
• Complete all safety and task training certifications as required by SBM.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals and other documents.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safe use of chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work with team to complete assignments and fill in during staff shortages.
• Maintain clean work area and follow company procedures.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and perform floor care tasks.
• Report safety hazards and communicate professionally with supervisors and coworkers.

Title:Floor TechnicianJob Description:Job OverviewThe Floor Technician will be responsible for safely performing assigned floor care functions based on standards and procedures, performs environmental services as needed, and performs floor care such as waxing, stripping, buffing, and other contractual duties according to regulations.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
