Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Floor Technician at UTMB Health in Texas to deliver high-quality cleaning services and maintain a safe, healthy environment. The role is full-time with afternoon/evening shifts and rotating weekends.

Ideal candidates have 12 months of related experience and familiarity with floor care equipment. Benefits include a comprehensive package and opportunities for training and advancement within the Sodexo network.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.
• Team oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts:

Afternoon/evenings - varying days, and rotating weekends. More details will be provided during the interview process.
