Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Floor Technician to perform high-quality cleaning across our facilities, supporting a safe and healthy environment at UT Health North Campus. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety standards on overnight shifts within a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include floor care with heavy equipment, carpet care, basic maintenance tasks, and supporting training for colleagues.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable and safety-conscious team members expected.
• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding
• May assist in training other employees
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Employment Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $15.50 per hour - $16.78 per hour

What You'll Do:

As a Floor Technician at Sodexo, you are a hygiene hero and planet protector. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service to create a safe and healthy environment.
