Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Floor Technician at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center to join our cleaning services team. In this role you will deliver high-quality floor and surface cleaning to create a safe, healthy environment and support patient care.

We offer full-time hours with afternoon/evening shifts and rotating weekends, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates should have at least 12 months of related experience and familiarity with floor care equipment.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish floors with heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted surfaces.
• May clean furniture, empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards.
• Assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You’ll Do:

As a Floor Technician at Sodexo, you are a hygiene hero and planet protector. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service to create a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces

• May assist in training other employees
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
