Job summary

Campus Services Group in Flourtown, PA is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe floors across campus spaces. Hours are Mon-Fri, 3-11pm, with a pay rate of USD 18.00–20.00 per hour and a benefits package including telemedicine, prescription discounts, and training support.

Applicants should be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and following all safety protocols. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in floor care or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Ability to operate specialized floor care equipment safely and effectively.
• Must follow safety and infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Operate auto scrubbers, burnishers, and other floor care equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors in classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Follow safety standards and infection control guidelines.
• Respond promptly to floor care requests and communicate with campus staff.
• Perform light janitorial duties such as trash removal as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team on area improvements.

• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of floors in public and private spaces, including hallways, classrooms, offices, and common areas.

• Comply with safety standards and follow all infection control, sanitation, and hazardous materials policies.

• Respond promptly to floor care requests and maintain communication with campus staff.

• Perform light janitorial duties, including trash removal, as needed.

• Collaborate with your supervisor and team to identify areas needing attention or improvement.

• All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Experience in floor care or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

• Ability to operate and maintain specialized floor care equipment.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with students, staff, and guests.

• Compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 75 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.

• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks daily and work in an environment that requires handling cleaning products.

• Must provide a criminal background check.
